This cap, measuring 13.5″ x 10″ x 7″ is an example of the type of cap work by the British grenadiers. Materials include bearskin on leather, and a laminate of copper backed with tin for the crown. British infantry regiments at the time would often organize themselves with infantry regiments of soldier in the middle of their formation with specialized regiments at each flank.
