Candlesticks from the Signing of the Treaty of Paris

 

These candlesticks, measuring 5.5″ x 2.75″ x 2.75″, were used at the signing of the Treaty of Paris in 1783.  This treaty brought a formal close to the Revolutionary War and set the stage for relations between United States and Great Britain for the years ahead.  For source and more details, click here.
