The first night of the three night event is complete and we’ve gotten a feel for the show. Overall, I’d say definitely worth a watch. It is not a purely historically accurate show, more a drama set in the period based around some key period events. That said, the action is great, acting good, and the set/production excellent.
If one let’s their imagination run a bit away from a fixation on historical accuracy, it is definitely a fun and and enjoyable watch. More to see tonight at 9 EST when we get the second part!
