I came across this really cool pop-up book of Boston’s historic Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail is literally a red-brick laden trail that runs a few miles through Boston, connecting many of its most prominent landmarks from history. It is surely worth a walk if you are ever visiting.
This book is a really fun and interesting idea, and just as impressive is the execution in design and layout. It takes a lot to design something that transitions from 2D-3D, and even more challenging to take that idea and implement it in a creative and visually appealing way. This definitely does it and is so cool to see. If you have visited boston and would like to “walk” though it again from home, or if you haven’t visited yet and would like to get a feel for some of the great historic landmarks, definitely take a look at this book!
