Came across this and it is indeed super-creepy. It is also a very interesting concept given that there were no photographs at the time. Before photography, a way to capture one’s physical likeness was to make a cast of their face while they were living. This would make an impression that would resemble their face. I haven’t seen Ben in person, but this might be pretty close!
