This is cool, in Philadelphia, they are working to construct a physical museum focused on the American Revolution. I believe while there are museums that include period items, this will be the first major museum in the country to be focused on the revolution, and fitting that it is located in Philadelphia.
They hired the prominent architect Robert Stern for the design, and are entering the construction phase. A nice website is already up with some of the collection on display, including Washington’s field tent and silver camp cups (awesome!). They have more available here:
