Pewter Container

 

This pewter container, measuring about 3.75″ x 5″, is attributed to George Washington’s Aide-de-Camp, John Trumbull.  It might have held tea or tobacco.  A pen and ink sketch of George Washington can be seen on it.  For source and more details, click here.
